Online Education Kit: Understanding the Human Genome Project: Credits
"Understanding the Human Genome Project" was produced by the Education and Community Involvement Branch (ECIB) of the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Md.
This CD-ROM was the updated version (Version 2.0) of an earlier CD-ROM called "The Human Genome Project," which was also produced by the NHGRI. Credits for both efforts are listed below with appreciation to all who assisted in the production of these learning tools.

The online version of "Understanding the Human Genome Project" was prepared and edited by members of the Communications and Public Liaison Branch Web Team: Mukul Nerurkar (project lead), Mabel Bialecki (graphics), Judy Wyatt (editing) and Kent Klemm (programming).

Contributors at the NHGRI include the Education and Community Involvement Branch (ECIB) team of Vence Bonham, Sarah Harding, Jeffre Witherly, Belen Hurle, Dale Lea, Carla Easter, Glenn Baldwin and Linda Turner. "The Human Genome Project" CD-ROM/Version 1.0
The first edition of this CD-ROM, called "The Human Genome Project," marked the completion of the mapping of the human genome. It was produced by NHGRI with the support of the U.S. Department of Energy, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Nature (International Weekly Journal of Science), the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, Science (Global Weekly Journal of Research) and the American Society of Human Genetics.
Credits for production of the first CD-ROM include Francis Collins, Victor McKusick, Jeffre Witherly, Darryl Leja, Aimee Cunningham, Joe McInerney, Monique Mansoura, Jane Ades, Karin Jegalian, Galen Perry and Kathy Hudson. The 3-D computer-animated video, Exploring our Molecular Selves, was designed and created by Bill Baker, Bakedmedia, Inc. and Mike Fisher, News-In-Motion.
