Ernesto Del Aguila III is a digital communications specialist within the Office of Communications. He joined NHGRI in November 2014. In his time at NHGRI, he has helped with the art direction of genome.gov, created original visuals for events and social media campaigns, spearheaded the use of animations with our publications, and worked closely with others in the institute to create and adhere to branding. Ernesto also serves as staff photographer and assistant videographer.
Ernesto uses the latest 3D platforms to create immersive graphics and motion graphics to help the public with science literacy. He has drawn inspiration from natural landscapes in his work as a graphic designer and photographer. He uses bold colors and compositions to bring genomics research to life in his digital products. Ernesto brings to each project solid experience with latest design techniques and a desire to innovate using cutting edge technologies.
