Training, Diversity and Health Equity Office

NHGRI’s Training, Diversity and Health Equity Office (TiDHE) works to champion a diverse genomics workforce, address health disparities and reach a more equitable and healthy society.

NHGRI’s Training, Diversity and Health Equity (TiDHE) Office develops and supports initiatives that expand opportunities for genomics education and careers; cultivates genomics training programs and workforce development initiatives for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups underrepresented in biomedical research; and promotes and funds genomics research to improve minority health, reduce health disparities, and foster health equity.

The TiDHE office also provides leadership for implementation of NHGRI’s Action Agenda and helps to communicate the importance of the Action Agenda’s goals and objectives. More Information about the Action Agenda can be found here
